Christmas 2011

Once again, Christmas was wonderful! As much as I tried to prepare, it still snuck up on us and passed much too quickly. We stayed in town and spent time together as our little family of four.

We spent Christmas Eve getting a little dirty:

Beckett supervised play time

We debated attending Christmas Eve service, but decided with no nursery, no one would be able to enjoy it. Two children under two do not make for a peaceful worship experience. We were disappointed, but hope to attend next year.

We enjoyed our Second Annual Christmas Eve Dinner of spaghetti, then tucked the kids into bed and waited for Santa.

Santa found us again this year! Whew! Lila's loot:

Beckett's stash (still have to order that chair insert!)

We even got a few family gifts.

Christmas morning started bright and early. Lila's hair is actually looking a little tame here:

We opened presents, inhaled a super fast breakfast (since our crockpot breakfast did not work out!) and headed to church. Beckett was exhausted from all the fun of watching Lila tear paper.

We did more videos than pictures this year. It was so much fun to see the excitement in Lila's eyes with each new present. We actually had to push her to open more gifts. She was so excited about whatever it was she unwrapped, she forgot about the others. Beckett was just happy to be there. We had a lazy day, enjoyed a huge dinner and relaxed. And it was fabulous.
